Mr. Raymond E. Patenaude, P.E. is a registered Professional Engineer specializing in Forensic Engineering, Building Science, and investigation & inspections of buildings. He has been involved with construction and building science for over 40 years. As a recognized expert in his field, Mr. Patenaude, P.E. provides professional consultation and forensic investigation in building science including: cause and origin of construction defects; existing construction analysis; building commissioning; building enclosure assessments; moisture intrusion in exterior assemblies; HVAC&R and Plumbing analysis; Building Automation Controls analysis; Energy Analysis; mold investigation & inspection; mold remediation management; indoor air quality of habitable spaces; infrared thermography; air tightness pressurization testing to assess air leakage performance; claims and litigation support for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. Mr. Patenaude has been recognized as a subject matter expert in building science, HVAC and mold by the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ERDC.
